The Friedkin Spitfire is going, rather than returning to, the US. It was built in the UK, went to the Indian AF, was recovered to the UK in the 70s, rebuilt in the 90s, spent a while in France, returned to the UK, and is now off to pastures new. The Old Flying Machine Company Corsair, P-40E and La-9 are now in New Zealand. A Spitfire IX and Harvard went to Ed Russell in Canada last year, and a Spitfire IX and Hurricane went to Friedkin in 2002.

On the plus side, a pair of Firefly projects have recently arrived at Duxford from Sweden, so it's not all one-way traffic, thank goodness!
