Dornier GmbH still exists, I think; I wonder whether the firm would consider an involvement in a recovery? Hard to tell from the pix, but I think the Do26 was the exceptionally quick machine with the variable-incidence engine mounts? If so it's technically a very interesting bird and surely worth raising...
