I think everyone hear is getting a bit confused with low passes and this particular footage.....
Ray WAS NOT doing a low pass, he was taking off, look closely and you can see the prop wash on the grass and the gear tucking up, all he did was keep it low after tucking the gear up.......pretty standard RAF routine in Ray's service days!
