Tim,

I don?t know much about T-34s, but a couple of questions:

1. My understanding is that the T-34 and Beech Bonanza are basically the same structure. Why the AD on the T-34 and not the Bonanza? (And I assume the T-34Cs are exempt as they are current military?) Has the issue only manifested itself as some T-34s are subjected to more stress than your average Bonanza?

2. I was very surprised to read that the RCAF gave up on the Mentor in the 1950s, for among other reasons, an accident where the spar failed during a high G maneuver. I wonder why this didn?t recur as an issue until the late 90s/early 00s?

Doesn?t look good for Mentor owners,

Jim
