: correct, very little was mustang... flutter is a nasty thing for a pilot... this one had elevator or horiz stab flutter (can't remember which) causing a massive over g condition and the acft broke up in flight. scattered bits all over and nothing remained. as i recall they did recover the bits and have them stuffed away but not even close to enough to consider a rebuild...
