BDK, you will most likely never ever ever never make money flying your 6 to/at airshows, but you can go a long way to defraying your costs. The big problem in the past has been that while you may want to get paid for appearing at a show, there is generally someone who as willing to show up for gas and a motel room. That undermines the leverage you may have with a promoter. I flew my TBM and my 6 always hoping just to break even (I never did), but I was able to build time and I had a lot of fun. I hope you do run right out to airshows. Gary
