CAF Fiat?

According to a post on the www.gavs.it, the Fiat G.59 VH-LIX owned and operated in Australia by the late Guido Zuccoli has been sold to the Commemorative Air Force.
I remember the aircraft being advertised for sale, but I think the most recent bit of news is ... new.
Can anyone confirm that the Fiat is indeed going to CAF or should we take this as a hangar story?
