:Well for what my input is worth I rate like this:

1) Classic Wings Down Under.
2) Aeroplane Monthly.
3) Flypast.

Graham does a bloody good job with his magazine but like Tony and the others say it needs to be more 'global thinking' than just 'Down under' also, Graham, you have a good web site but please-please-please update it more often, web sites can be excellent boosts for companies but like any tool they need to be used correctly.

Well again, the above list is my thoughts.

: Now that Warbirds Worldwide is sadly no longer with us - I

: I doubt any one would disagree that the WW Journal was the

: Warbirds International ?
: I do buy the occasional copy of ?Aeroplane Monthly ? and
: my friends around the

: [ Jet & Prop , Flugzeug
: Classic from Germany , Aeroplan from Poland etc] .
: My reason for subscribing to ?Flypast? is because of the f

: .... in my opinion the news section is better than Aeropla

: historical articles seem better in the latter !
: ?Classic Wings ? is outstanding and over the last few year
: s has increased output from
: four to six times a year [ that is , if the editor is not
: bogged down in airshow
: preparations ;-0 ] . Content is a little more varied than
: the WW Journal was and the
: subjects are now more global orientated than previously wh

: concentrated on the very active vintage scene ?Down Under

: something within its pages that seems to escape the ?major

: something not easily achieved ! Being from N.Z. you may th
: ink I am a little biased - I
: suppose I can?t honestly deny it ;-)
: The U.S. magazines - well at the risk of upsetting or frie
: nds there - I find them quite
: poor ! They do have some very nice air - to - air photo s

: contained within is sadly lacking in substance with scarce

: the magazines seem very
