Sehr auff?llig in der Ausstellung ist der fast zwei Meter hohe Flugzeugreifen eines "Lancaster"-Bombers, den Museumsmann Standfu? im April 1998 aus der M?ritz fischen lie?. Sporttaucher aus Baden-W?rtemberg fanden das Flugzeugwrack in acht Meter Tiefe. Nach dem Rad sollte das ganze Flugzeug geborgen werden, was nicht genehmigt wurde, da "das Wrack am besten aufgehoben ist, wo es sich befindet". Dennoch bietet das Museum beachtliche Exponate zur Flugzeugtechnik, die teilweise einmalig sind.

Very noticeable in the display is the almost two meter high airplane tire of a "Lancaster" retrieved from the lake.Sport divers out of W?rtemberg found the airplane wreck in eight meters. After the wheel, the entire airplane should be made safe, but this plan was not approved."The wreck is best left where it is located".
ummmmm-hmmmmmm and of course, if it had been a 177, 111, 217, 219 or a Dora? That wreck would have been out of there like a late space shuttle, don't you worry.....
